The PBI Community

The PBI community includes Jesuits from the PRO Province who are actively involved in a variety of collaborative initiatives with local ecclesial, academic, and social institutions throughout Israel and Palestine. Members of the community contribute to the academic and educational life of institutions such as Bethlehem University, the Latin Patriarchal Seminary of Beit Jala, and the Tantur Ecumenical Institute. They are also engaged in a wide range of ecumenical and interreligious initiatives, fostering encounter, dialogue, and collaboration among the different Christian Churches and with other religious communities. In addition, members of the community offer pastoral and spiritual assistance to parishes, groups, and religious communities, according to their different needs and areas of ministry.
